Fortunately, my roommate was studying pure arts at Chelsea College. When she was preparing for the graduation project, she asked me to help make a three-dimensional view of the space. I listened to her idea of the work, found it interesting, and decided to cooperate with her. During the discussion with her, we felt that the combination of object and projection would create new feelings.
- Background:
Everything in the world has two sides, even the love that people yearn for is also so. A creator is a person with positive and sunny nature. No matter how many traumas she has experienced in love, such as cold, violence and cheating, she still yearns for love and firmly believes that love itself is beautiful.
- Brief introduction:
The creator expresses his understanding of love through the installation. She compared love to a heart, which is composed of pieces of broken glass, to express that there will be many contradictions between two people in love and they will hurt each other. She has experienced anticipation, sadness, surprise, disappointment, and finally anger in relationships. A whole heart is broken and fused again. Back and forth, scarred. Shards of glass are aggressive and can cause pain and bleeding to anyone who gets close to them. But if we sit down and look at it, through all the obstacles, we can see the nature of love is sugar inside, still sweet.
To better explain the meaning of the installation, we add a dynamic effect to the static installation. According to our own experience of emotion and understanding of love, we write a small animation: a heart and a candy meet, chase and sublimation. Combine animation and installation. By using the sequence of projection, viewers can be attracted to see the installation in sequence. At the same time, it can also express the ideas of creators more intuitively through animation.
- Moral:
In most of the works, some people use comedy to tell a sad reality. Too many people around us hold a pessimistic attitude towards love. However, in my opinion, even the ugly things still have a beautiful side.
- The animation part:
We wanted to use projection technology to project animation onto the device. So with the help of my teacher, I inquired about the software information for projection.

At one point in the cartoon, a little girl chases love on an ELECTROcardiogram. So I looked up the following information:
Meanwhile, in order to cater to the broken glass elements in the device, I found the materials for making fragments:
