In class, after a discussion with the teacher, he asked me how these two very separate scenes could be linked so that the audience would know that they were two emotions of one person. So, I added a new scene of two masks, one negative and one positive. The camera first goes into the eyes of the positive mask to convey a feeling as if it is entering the brain and then presents the scene in high emotion. The scene then fades out, and the camera comes out of the eyes of the positive mask and into the eyes of the negative mask and then presents the scene in a low mood.
