- Knowledge part:
I found use Bend could replace the rigging part. Because this animation only needs heart and candy a little zoom in and out and a little curve.
In modelling part: Deform – Nonlinear – Bend
I found the bend curve’s keyframe doesn’t show in the timeline.
- The process
- In the first and second acts, the heart skips along and meets the cand:

I remember the tutor video in the first semester had taught me how to animate a character jump.
The playblast:
- In the third cut, the heart circles around the sugar to express excitement and affection:

- In the fourth cut, the heart and candy dance together to show a feeling of sentimental.

And I found a reference to tea floating in the water.
Import video in AE and output PNG sequence into Maya:
In this cut, I need candy and the heart goes round in a cycle:
In graph editor: View – Infinity. Curves – Pre/Post infinity – cycle.
After several attempts, I came up with the idea of using motion Paths to regulate motion paths.
I want to create a helix motion path. Create – Polygon – Helix. Choose the line, double click, Modify – Convert – Polygon Edges to Curve. Delete polygon.
