- Rigging
Use Mixamo website

But when I use the Maya auto control rig from Mixamo, there is always a warning:

I search the internet and ask for classmates help. Maya 2022 may use Python 3, and that is the reason. So I try to use Maya 2018 and it worked.

After using the plugin, I can’t select the model and start skin painting. And this plugin automatically deletes my creation of the ears skeleton. So I return to the skeleton step and decided to add the controller by myself.
I remember Alan has told us how to create IK and FK last semester:
The blogger has a series of teaching videos of rigging, followed step by step by drop-down, with a clear mind.
Unfortunately, there was a problem with the binding ears, which became detached from the head when I rotated the neck. I asked Dom. An attempt was made to fix the Parent, but still not resolved. Dom suggested that I redo the ear binding and brush the weights first. If there are still any more questions, he’ll look over the files for me.
Then I find another problem. I can’t rotate and scale the whole body because the skeleton and polygon will separate. Time was tight and I wanted to focus on animation and create deep-sea effects. So the next best thing I’m going to do is use the Mixoma plug-in binding model.
- Sound
I’m in charge of opening animation. I found a reference of falling into the water:
What I supposed is a little sad background music with a loud splash effect sound which gives the audience a sudden accident feeling.
Our group searched for the reference firstly:

What I prefer most is:
Begin with the 30s. There is a quiet silence, and I can add a loud splash sound. This music also fits in with a slightly sad feeling. I confirmed the whole emotion of our game with team members, it is a little bit depressing but in the end, it is a warm story.
On Saturday, we had the first meeting with the sound students. They understood our vision and our needs.
