This week, I mainly design the Edward character and made its model. I discuss the character with Yuyan. We look for a reference for rabbit toys on the internet. And we consider the character’s personality in the novel, it is a proud rabbit with its owner’s love. So we choose the reference below:
We want to use the first picture’s expression because it shows the pride of being pampered. And we choose the second picture’s body because we want to create a cute rabbit and its shape is convenient to add animation. Sometimes a too long body may be cause fighting between models. And then I draw the three views of characters:
Then I began to create the model. Because I haven’t done the character model before, I ask for many classmates how to do these. Finally, I found some courses on the internet and do my own model while learning. So the process is kind of slow.

When I build the main body, I add a little bit of line in it. So it is difficult to make the leg and arm cylindrical while I press 3 to smooth it. I have to drag the vertical while pressing B(soft selection) to make the curve. The next time, I will try to outline the main body with as few lines as possible.
