- Settings & Props:
There are four human-like animals in the laboratory with goggles. They separate into two laboratories, one is made of two foxes, one is made of a fox and a beaver. They all stand behind the table. There are beakers, test tubes, test tube racks, notebooks and other experimental items on the experimental table. Triangular bottles, test tubes, science models and other items are also placed on the cabinet behind the character.
2. Costume, Hair & Makeup
This cartoon is not rigorous in costume. The experimenter should wear a lab coat. But all those wear their own daily clothing. And they didn’t wear gloves.
3. Facial Expressions & Body Language
Maybe it is the stop-motion animation reason. The character’s facial expressions are not flexible. But the fundamental expression like a frown shows anger, wide eyes show surprise are exist there. When the beaver told the fox the boy he saw, he had an upward movement of hands clapping which shows he was excited.
4. Lighting and colour
The overall colour of the picture is orange. Reagent colours in test tubes are complementary colours that make the frame not monotonous. There is a subtle gree in the post on the wall.
5. Positioning of characters/objects within the frame
The two groups of partners stand side by side. And these two groups are also emitted in parallel.
6. What role does the shot choice (Cinematography) play in the scene.
I think is a medium shot. We can see their upper bodies. And also use a Travelling shot (dolly shot), because the frame moves the lift to the right while fixed on its axis.
